Jan. 1 Bow-Mar, Jefferson Co., Colo: 1♂ on the pond at the King's house
at the NW corner of Upper Tule Lake (where I have seen them in
previous years): large round green head, thick bill base, broad bill
nail, very white sides. Very rarely identified in Colorado.
Nov. 27 Oceanside, San Diego Co., Calif: 1♀ Buena Vista Lagoon – very rounded
head, deep bill, bigger in body size than nearby Lessers; from
