Remsen, J.V. 1975 Canada Warbler Wilsonia canadensis Oct. 26 Golden Gate Nat.Rec.Area, Marin Co., Calif: 1 at Battery Wallace, where found earlier in day by Laurie Binford (and re-found by J.Moran). I relocated it in dense wax-myrtles and it was eventually seen by everyone as it foraged low in leafless cypress branches, staying usually under 6' above ground. The necklace was complete but was faint; underparts completely yellow except for white vent; upperparts uniform bluish-gray - no wingbars ; complete eye-ring and faint line from eye to bill white ; tail without any white spots. Silent,
