Blackpoll Warbler
Dendroica striata
May 3 Two Buttes Dam, Prowers Co., Colo: 1♂ foraging in willow foliage
about 3/4 mile upstream from dam in open riparian situation.
Watched for about one minute as it foraged 7-10 ft above the ground.
No colors but black and white. Crown and malar streaky black, the
wide
malar leading into rows of black spots down sides; cheek, throat,
breast and belly white. Back striped black and white. Wings dark with
two prominent white wingbars
