Yellow-rumped (Audubon's) Warbler
Dendroica coronata auduboni
Jan. 1 Waterton, Jefferson Co., Colo.: 1 seen foraging along S. Platte R.
about 1/4 mile downstream from the bridge. Foraged along edges
of stream wherever not frozen, even flitting from rock to rock in
the middle of the stream, Dipper-fashion. Extremely unusual in N.
Colo. in winter.
May 13 Boulder area, Boulder Co., Colo.: 100 at Sawhill Ponds - incredible
concentration, especially considering its scarcity today at Ball Bros. and
Waterton.
