May 9 Univ. of Colo. Boulder Co. Colo.: 5 along Boulder Creek. Call note a very rich "pwit" or "pwoit", low. Pale outer web of outer tail feathers; very [illegible] brownish back and head; brownish gray throat and chest; faint tinge of yellow on belly; long tail held diagonally, not vertically; leaning forward pasture.-not upright; flicks wings and tails only briefly when alighting on new perch.
