nearly pure white bird with a flock of 200, a higher
than usual
proportion of which were yellow males.
Mar.2 301 Camino Pablo, Orinda, Contra Costa Co, Calif : caught
and banded 16 birds in 7 hrs. in a two cell ground
trap baited with seeds.
Apr.12 Pt. Pinde Reg Park, Contra Costa Co. : 150- incredible #
singing - dispersed in eucalyptus groves, apparently
breeding. In one grae, at least 4 birds were
incorporating some strange, flute-like, oricle-like notes
in their song.
May 5 Mines Rd, Alameda Co, Calif : female feeding young
in nest in the sign for Branding Iron cafe.
May 13 Big Morongo Refuse, San Bernadino Co. Calif : Nest in palm
tree go up with 5 eggs in Coulinston Park
