June 3 Oasis Ranch, Mono Co, Calif : 1 ♂ (S). Yellow throat and breast, with bar across chest which was bluish (upper half) and reddish-brown (lower half), sharply dividing throat from breast. Belly + undertail coverts white. Tail very short. Upperparts bluish with greenish area on back. Too far away to see eye-ring. Two white wingbars. Song - buzzy, ascending - similar to Black-throated Gray. Foraging actively in tops of cottonwoods.
Deep Springs Ranch, Inyo Co, Calif : 1 ♀. Yellow throat and breast; white belly + undertail coverts; short tail; upperparts bluish; two conspicuous white wingbars. Small size. Foraging rapidly in tops of cottonwoods.
June 17 Corn Spring, Riverside Co, Calif : 1 ♀ seen briefly - eye ring broken on sides, 2 distinct white wingbars, ovalson white belly, short tail with whitish undersides.
