"text": "The birds were extremely tame and did\nnot seem to be in the general vicinity from where calls\ncould be heard, but we could not locate how they were\ngot there. It is also possible that they were called.\nIt was a dark night, and it seemed like a full moon,\nor possibly a new-moon phase, which we could not\nconfirm. But we could not locate the birds at all.\nFinally the woods grew into being as the sun rose,\nand I stood in front of some grass growing on a\nhill while I was waiting for the birds to come back.\nThe first bird flew down and landed on a branch near\nthe tree, and then another bird came down and landed\non a branch near the first bird. The second bird was\ndown on the ground. We were able to see the second\nbird, which was also located in the woods near the\nfirst bird that had flown down. It was not clear if\nit was still there or if it had moved on.\nAlso, we were told by a man that he had seen two birds\ntogether in the woods near where we were standing,\nand one of them was said to be a female. We could\nnot determine if they were both males or if one was\na female and the other was a male. We also heard\nfrom another person that there were at least two birds\nin the area, and possibly more than two birds.\nSlender-billed gulls were seen flying around the area,\nand it seemed like they were looking for food on the\nground. The first bird we saw was a male, and the\nsecond bird we saw was a female. We were told by\nanother person that there were at least two birds in\nthe area, and possibly more than two birds.\nWe also heard from another person that there were at\nleast two birds in the area, and possibly more than\ntwo birds.
