Apr.26 Woodland Sugar Ponds, Yolo Co., Calif.: 1 winter plumage- pale gray, unstriped bill, broad short two-toned bill, very little dark on head. Probably only eighth record from Central Valley and perhaps the first spring record. May 16 Moss Landing, Monterey Co., Calif.: 30 Monterey area: 20 May 17 Monterey area: 10 Moss Landing: 350. About 1/3-1/4 breeding plum ?? rest either ?? or molting ??; <1% in winter plumage. June 5 Pt. Reyes, Marin Co., Calif.: 1 ♀ BP at Mendoza Ranch pond. June 9 Half Moon Bay boat trip, San Mateo Co., Calif: 4
