Microtus. Mr. Dixon shot down a Paleolated Warbler, and a Wright (?) Flycatcher on the way to the Meadows.
While there, he collected a Song Sparrow.
We sat and ate lunch at 10 o'clock.
At 2, we were given an hour to wander at our leisure. Most of the girls crossed the [illegible] bridge and chased lizards. I, having no lizard nose, watched birds. Noticed Purple Finches, Wood Peewees, Chipping Sparrow, Western Robins. At three, we all met [illegible] near the bridge and set out for the car. Arrived in camp at about 4:30, and proceeded to clean up & write some notes.
