Quest 1948 Myotis californicus June 26 Arroyo San Louis, 300+ ft, 7 mi W Calmelli, Baja California of the mine and one in the horizontal tunnel. One small bat, possibly this species, seen flying across the arroyo just before dark. June 27 Same location Visited the horizontal tunnel this morning but saw none of this species. July 12 Calevina, 1850+ ft, Baja California One female #453 obtained by netting over pond south of the ranch after dark. Specimen appears to be feeding singly. One other obtained by Dr. Benson at the same location in the same manner.
