Cyanocitta stelleri
Oct. 22 El Batel, 5100 feet, Sinaloa.
Several taken in the past week by Russell and
Leopold. The species apparently occurs only
scatteredly, as neither of the collectors saw more
than one or two on the few mornings when the
species was met. The fact that the specimens
taken include adults suggests that the species is
probably locally resident.
