Patelka 1943 Chondestes grammacus June 25-26, 1 mi W Hyampom, 1200 ft, Trinity Co., Calif. West of camp. Two pairs were established there. Both males were in song. One was taken. Our family group of at least three, probably four well-grown young was noted there. The species was also present in the vicinity of a ranch house at the west end of the Hyampom flat north of South Fork River.
