P. De Benedicts 1965 Anas acuta 19 June Barrow, Alaska — a flock 7 males seen flying N over S. Fort Logan in the early afternoon. 25 June a group of 5's seen flying S over the 60th area about 4:30 PM. 29 June a flock of about 8 seen in the AOT and 1/2's over the 60TH area in the afternoon. 30 June a group of 7 including at least 5's was seen on Central Marsh, where they landed in open exposed areas. 2 July a group of 6 with 1 duck (looking 5's) seen over Central Marsh. 5 July 3 (2♂, 1♀) out in the E. cent. part of Central Marsh, in a "grassy pool" 10 July about 7 were on Central Marsh, including several females, and were forked, showing no evidence of pairing. 11 July one seen in a small lake near Ikhavuil.
