The pair was also present near the plane net as usual, and gave me the same treatment. They certainly act like they have chicks. All were in the Eriophorum area except the pair by the golden plaves, and here Eriophorus was near. 5 July Only one seen on the flats opposite the North dunes, one on a Eriophorum ridge between pools and one on a Cornicularia-Cotana flat. 6 July There were more birds near the plot than usual; two towards the beake from the plane net, and two near the 5.5 marker, where they continue to act like they had chicks. They are localized in a wet Eriophorus flat area, except the adults are doing much surface feeding [not displacement]. Three birds in the area along the 3.6 post, all out in the Eriophorus flats, two of the birds feeding. They flew off when I approached. Though one seemed a little attached to this area. 8 July Dunlin which appeared alarmed about my presence (not seen feeding) were found in wet today Eriophorus flat near the Black-belly
