Pearson - 1994 25 brown. Not the way I remember other tucos. When put into a bucket or into a cage trap, the tucos made angry grating noises, but we neve heard a "tuc-a-tuc"-like sound. Several individuals were loaded with mites and/or fleas. December 10- On the basis of available specimens of tucos, maulinus has hind feet the same color as the tail; haigii has tail darker than hind feet.
