4 pellets collected under a cliff with
an occupied nest of Geranoaetes.
Collected by Foreman Simpson 8 October, 1994.
Many have bones present. Near Collon Cura on
Rio Cera Cura, Neuquen
(1) looks like owl pellet: 2 Atodon nucar, adult
(2) " " " " : 1 ad Reithrodon, 1 ad Oryzomyz.
(3) " " " " : 1 pg Reithrodon, 1 old Atodon nucara
(4) looks like eagle pellet: poorly digested, long fur,
white tufts; pelvis, tail, feet, and hind legs
looks like Phyllotis, no skull.
3 pellets in Ponderosa grove at headquarters of
Estancia Sa Primavera; horned owl, 60 yards
from Tyrto alba nest. Collected June 7, 1994 by
Foreman Simpson.
