Dec 4 Night clear & calm. Bautrops & 7:30 AM into Leder meswood Park. Sward Dago, Miller, my traps had 1 brownie (steel trap), 1 geeker varden, 5 also longi, and 4 also oliv. One of the longi quite dark, maybe sandorni. Peter with 30? M5 on his bank of the stream carpet 2 longi and 2 oliv. Anuta caught 4 oliv. Between 7:30 and noon, Anuta caught 2 more oliv, and I caught another oliv. Lapso 4 PM, Photos of a captive & Pedro and her 'few weeks' old' fawn. Surprisingly hard to find her in her 50' x 50' pen of tall green grass and trees about seventy decks. The fawn is spotted, freezes in the grass and allows itself to be stroked. At 3 PM drove up the valley road to the big bridge with Mesero & Anuta and Dagoferto Miller. Warm but some high clouds. Looked for good trapping sites but found none better than here. No sign of raccoons. Big ferns are tall now away but not flowering yet. Anuta put out some more traps along the stream. Miller says there are coipers here, and he caught an cottar last winter. Said he had not seen hots, but at dinner the brother told came in to our tell mill a Tadarida (about) that they had just caught. Have seen no hummingbirds here. They feed the Pedro Fuchsia traveler (among other things).
