more people in it, never got to the river; busy road. Then drove to the east side of Gogo Medellino to fish; stopped at El Delta where we camped and trapped ones (good campsites). In a fireplace under its limbs of a tree, Anita found one owl pellet containing one mouse - and brownies! At La Veranda I walked about a mile along a deeply little-used road in quite mild scrub/cactus scrub looking for Tocha; saw dog and fofa, no Pedro or cat or pig. Two skippings anywhere the scrub opened up a little. Nov. 28 Hilda Rumboll says there are leaf-cutter ants at the Wood's estancia near La Vinacua (between the Aleminos (= Colom Curu) and El Chimenduin), and Dick Sago, who just returned from Brasoloula, says there are leaf-cutter ants at the bridge over the Calanfu near the motadros on Est. Abreu. He caught there a Bufo arenarum, which is a southern limit; add this to the southern limit of Manmara, 2 spp. of guinea pig and Calonmyx. Day cool & windy. Went to Cano Geceroz and collected pellets. Maybe 2 qte. of fresh pellets, 1 cast furry pellets. Also found a few more marshland fauna among the loose branches; Zestadplus and either manura or Drimigfe. Note: no Tocha in the current pellets!!
