Drove up to the glaciaras after lunch, then down to
Barbols. Clear skies all day. Joan Kelley Fowler thinks
the diversity and abundance of birds in the forest (bosger
swifts of Pemulis and landays) is much less than in
Memerole in June.
Jan. 1 Barbels. Clear warm. set 36 Shermons in the marsh
at low. 12 at 6:30 p.m.
Jan 2. Clear and warm. Trofas in marsh had 2 alsoe oluacens,
5 alsoe longi, and 1 Orizgamps;
Set of 3:30 p.m. for lab tour. The nerves at Volcal
Hungra now more yellow than in the photo there a week ago.
just before the Anflectro on the west side of read we saw
about 50 guencoses, all adults.
Visited the me Cloud estate at the east end of Zago
Troful, architected by Bustillo, built 1943. Borrowed
2 air/photos of the area, to copy.
Camped at the Callin Mangano. No tordora.
Jan 3. Night clear, warm, morning clear. Lunch at the abalard
farm with the Calerful, Bosters amargay in full bloom
there, and along Zago Melquinia. Vaso in full bloom.
Heard twee-twee of the Calerfu campsite: "twe-twe;
