and four Phyllidactylus, 3 of these were in the bottom of the arroyo among dense bunchgrass and weeds near the stranded x Pellets under an eagle nest contained here mostly, I mean, 1 lizard mould. Saw a hare yesterday, but not many droppings around. On a walk this afternoon saw foot tracks and a set of foot or cat droppings. Numerous came around, a few sheep. Clouds moved in from the east late in the afternoon. The mammals so far consist of: Abalon dolomiacus (seems much bigger than) Phyllostus dorsum (smallish ears). Oryzcterus, genus pig (goles or cava). hare, Oryzopus?, foot tracks, Ralltrader droppings. According to Oliver's book, Cava, Oty, and Abalon dorif get arguable nowhere. Nov. 26 morning clear, no frost. Rentlessly, continued with afforts. 1 Cava, 4 Reithrae, Abdonos, and Oryzcterus, and 1 Oryzopus. The Orzy was in the same place in the dense bunchgrass where no one previously caught the other 4 species. Set off about 10 am on a mild dash to visit assorted habitats to the west of here into a low flat valley (Pocho Valley) with palm trees with aqueducto Cava Brotero, then north to Salsacato, then west over another steep mountain range through tunnels then down onto a broad flat dusty flat
