and four Phyllidactylus, 3 of these were in the
bottom of the arroyo among dense bunchgrass
and weeds near the stranded x Pellets under an
eagle nest contained here mostly, I mean, 1 lizard
mould. Saw a hare yesterday, but not many
droppings around. On a walk this afternoon saw
foot tracks and a set of foot or cat droppings. Numerous
came around, a few sheep. Clouds moved in
from the east late in the afternoon.
The mammals so far consist of:
Abalon dolomiacus (seems much bigger than)
Phyllostus dorsum (smallish ears).
Oryzcterus, genus pig (goles or cava).
hare, Oryzopus?, foot tracks, Ralltrader
droppings.
According to Oliver's book, Cava, Oty,
and Abalon dorif get arguable nowhere.
Nov. 26 morning clear, no frost. Rentlessly, continued with
afforts. 1 Cava, 4 Reithrae, Abdonos, and Oryzcterus,
and 1 Oryzopus. The Orzy was in the same place in
the dense bunchgrass where no one previously caught the
other 4 species.
Set off about 10 am on a mild dash to visit assorted
habitats to the west of here into a low flat valley (Pocho
Valley) with palm trees
with aqueducto Cava Brotero, then north to
Salsacato, then west over another steep mountain range
through tunnels then down onto a broad flat dusty flat
