Christy came to see me about 5:30 pm and reported having seen turcos as he was looking down from the taco site yesterday. See Stomops sp. species account. Contents of 3 harvested pellets from under the willows near the ranch headquarters, Fortin Chacabos: (1) 2 auleisomyx (2) 1 bird, 2 Phyllostus, 1 auleisomyx, 1 also ?sathla? (3) 1 auleisomyx, 1 Reithrodon. Have seen no yellow pellets yet. Nov. 17 Baradero. Sunny, warm, windy. Owl pellets picked up under cypress trees near the car at Carro Pintado: (1) 1 aulisso (2) 2 also longi (3) 2 aulisso (4) 1 aulisso, 1 Reithro (5) 2 also. longi, 2 also sathla (6) 2 longi, 1 aulisso + 1 loose Stomops mandible Nov. 19 Left 11 AM for Rio Cuarto. Stopped at the Chavera Dam again and in 20 minutes near the water's edge saw one mouse and one snake Taxilignea. NE of Piedra lo Alguila we stopped at a roadside zoo run as a kiosky by a Sr. De Abi. The cages were poor but the animals in excellent condition: rheo, guanaco, joruna, chunna, grey foot, 2 M. wildcat, yambi; red deer, tigruno (martivota), Ddelotus. Camped on the edge of the Rio
