fragments of pellets contained: most parts, an additional 4 Andr., 1 Geofine, and 1 pr. Dromicus mandibles. The forest floor everywhere was sprinkled with fallen large leaves, including on the snow. Photod my amaway plot (no core, amaway shoots just starting up through the sick leaf mulch) just across the trail from this plot is an area with lots of core as indrogram, and a no-core area adjacent. will be interesting to see if there is diff in abundance of amaway, at the first curve to the left coming down from Meenayer is an area (inside core) with lots of earth core (Photo) and almost no amaway, whereas lots of amaway adjacent, also across the road. The log and earth core diogrammed and photod on Oct. 29 still has almost no amaway. Conclusions from today's survey: definitely a negative correlation betwen earth core and amaway. Cause? Also, two diam- ers of core; Chelomp and Geofine? Nov. 10 Evards want to run the drop to the Alceurs lake again, this time with AK and Julie von Thunen.
