In the traps along the park ground house in Ciper - river - barlins caught 2 Origys and 2 abdo longi but no aemany of Octodon. shined in morning. Day turned into totally clear but cold. Traps in afternoon held only 1 abdo longi's in the campo grande. Put out a list of about 40 trpft traps up the steep slope behind our cabin. (then v Sago) Cerro del Chico. Soft soil, three laurels at bottom, ferlaria, cardonials etc up to rocks near top. may 10 night clear door, heavy frost. Campo trpfts hold 4 abdo div, 3 abdo longi, 1 Origy, 1 Reithro, 1 oulisca. Traps down park ground house held 4 abdo longi, 1 abdo alvius and 2 Origys. Traps top of the slope fed our cabin, lazing edge of fraccion (1 chelomys), laurels and carlins, then clear slope = 12 abdo longi, 1 div (divs) and 1 live Chelomys. Shined until 7 PM then packed and went to Victor's house and waited until 5 for the arrival of Belotchy (alensado). He and Victor are going on a hike tomorrow and are going to show us the trail to escorial where Octodon were caught during the summer. Drove to Soguna Verde and made camp just before dark.
