While we were in the road below Cueva Treful, former
Parkguard Rojas drove by. He still says there are trees
"en la zona" but didn't know where was the Jacques
Fresco that we were looking for yesterday (although he
knew the name).
May 4 us frost. Day mostly cloudy. Drove past Hidde's on way
to Sloo Sloo to locate ancient postcard scene. Couldn't
locate spot spot, but seems to include site of the Sloo-Sloo
hotel before the hotel was built. Then drove up Cueva
Otto again. Photo of a clearing in large forest above the
road just before the turn that reveals the microwave
stations. Photo shows amaraway, Pises, grass. The
amaraways are 1 to 2 ft. tall, usually with 5 peta
arranging, but sometimes 6 or 7. Also photos in
the large forest, which is colorful but not terrific.
Then set up to photo down on the abandoned harvested
towards Barbados, airport etc. Wanted over an hour for
sun to hit the harvested. The airport remained
sunny continuously; but 5 1/2 on the Tolder road was
frequently sunny, Barbados occasionally, I never.
The intense to the far east were not sunny
May 5 Star dew night, frost -4°. Ingrid says an old timer

central) has old photos.
Drove up to Refugio Neumeyer. The autumn scene was
gorgeous. Photos of a couple of patches of amaraway in
the large forest, plus forest photos also, mixed
