Euenopse Nov. 9. Windy & mostly clear. Drove at 3 pm to the force road. Techel modal to get permission to trail off to collect/pellts at the cliffs. Presman in BA. the Captain Flores said he could not give permission (but see Nov.10) because the cliffs were on Est. Fortin Casaleto, so we set traps (again) where Aroyo Cloacinos crosses the road to Vida Augustera. Good windy grass, Anita set 40 traps (12 live +28 MS) or Sage set 20 MS in pairs baited with chewed catual and with tuna fish (canned). I set pair of MS (39+36=75) 68. and Sherman, about 50 in all. Then camped at the barn at the bottom of the Aroyo Cloacino clof. a pair of Agulobae with nest there, picked up some of their/pelts. Camped under water and 8-foot tall Berberis along iripion canal near the barn at the east end of the cliffs. This valley is rich as well - natural with vario of gesso, tene-tene, chinempe, frogs. Wind died at dusk. Nov. 10 Night clear, calm. Frost mean + sleeping bags. A dead board and overhance of cliff. Also mandible of large armadillo near the quiche's camp. Sage heard screech? and during the night.
