Probably 300 to 400 feet above my road. On the way up to it, we saw a giant track of a 5" diam. burrow along the trail. On the way down, an N. morrowi's crista's trap in pure lunga caught 2 N. coldringii alive, and 4 also longi. Up in the larga achofaroda, under loose stones, Iago found pristidactylus fasciatus, Eosaphus numerous geosaurus libratus, a total Pleurodema sp., and Geodema of the elongatus group. These 2000 m with snow bands all around. In the large forest at 1500 m was Pleurodema bufonium (along the creek) and a brick-red belled Geodema (under bark on the ground). Picture. Nov. 8 Scattered clouds, very windy. Drove to the lake of Estacion Perito Moreno. Set 12 traps at two places that were marshy-grassy, at 11 AM, then hiked up to the window rock looking for owl pellets. Found only a few. Lots of rigeoba dropping but saw none. Then hiked over toward the condor cliffs. A handful of condors were perching, circling, landing, etc. We didn't get close enough to see if there were any nests. Two geese near the bottom of the condor cliff. Dick Sage caught Geodema elongatus group and Hornista darwinii and saw a Geodema librari, also some Pleurodema (4-eyes). Saw col guail. On the microphone at 3 pm the traps had 2 also longi. Note (see following) that among the bones picked up at the base of the cliff were two Eremophila. Many rigeoba dropping. Saw 3 hare on the walk, many DOB (Sunday morning).
