Peru March 16, 1974 Left SF on Braniff at 6PM. LA airport is done Sunday. Jaena, Peru for some food at Ontario & waited four hours for the LA passenger to join us. Dinner was served us about 12 o'clock and bedded tie; and they ran out 3 breakfasts! We arrived in Lima about 9:30 AM, so since we thought our Jaena flight left at 10 we sped through customs etc as fast as possible. Oh, to find that our Pan Am plane to Jaena didn't leave until 12:45! March 17, 1974 Jaena looked good to me. The old site, meanwhile has vanished, & he has it for Jaena, Peru at which to. Meanwhile the new market Bolognesi is open. We stuffed in the Devin Caples & the one-eyed Indian lady had her more good assortment of things. We purchased Sara Cuen's pockets, a funny rug and one nice bag. Not much else to do today (BT relax). The truck was in good shape for us and it in the hotel garage. The Hotel Jaerites is as attractive as ever. The alpacas are fettered in the tennis court at our visitor, and there is the usual couple of llamas, turkeys, chickens (and one sheep) in cages and the grounds. The swimming pool is much in use.
