Pleaven 1982 57 motamys rodewanius May 6 caught 13 at Sogo Hui Hui, Panfede Hui Hui, and Sogo Quilla in the bosque (pallin + carr), at the west of Panfede Hui Hui area/floor that looks like it might have been the site of a sawmill many years ago, Sage found numerous clusters of small speccations. The vegetation was short grass and most of a dwarf sricaceous plant. Some speciations were made from above and only an inch or two deep; others many inches deep and a diameter of mouse size, as well as 1 quart of dirt separated. Worms and grubs common. Sage set a lot of museum speccles at these speccations and right for caught 1 rodewanius and 1 abdon longipilis (the latter emerging from one of the burrows). Some rodewanius caught for out in the improved sunelgrass Pampa, near acoracups, ricoreus, ad longipilis. Another caught in scrubby mixed fauna near Acoracups and stenomys. May 17 Dick Sage caught 2 close to the stream in this lush canyon at the eastern edge of cipres (5km ESE Estacion Perto Moreno). Both were in coge traps, one of them in the sanotrap (olive) with a live abdon longipilis.
