Person 1982 56 Ostomys (cont.) May 6: Camper Prairie, north of Joe Colorado, Maquon, Ill. George Rambough, owner of this ostarea and the man who helped Creel on his foot study line and on live collection of mammals from here, says that two-toes must to be abundant here but that they all mysteriously disappeared about 1938. We have seen no evidence of them here, but the soil in most places seems to be quite hard.
