Rogers claims that our bas (Stella torcida) is Sapium patagonicum, a closely-related genus. The farthest south Stillingia is Cordoba. Thort Herbarium has a species labeled Stillingia Patagonica from Vildotteruasa, Santa Cruz 350m.
