Pearson 1975 9 Apr. 22 Left Barileho about 10:30 in rental Renault. Drive slowly south with numerous stops. Numerous number of two-toes along road beginning of our former campsite on Lojo Gualbino, no song at one place where we stopped to examine fresh diggings. Semibody / Stiflora bright yellow, large red from, and more assorted yellow, green, and brown. Side of hips on the wild rose. Stopped at this former campsite about 2:30 and I put out 28 large Sherman across the stream and a dozen museum specials. Later rolled oats + cornmeal. Along the stream are fairly large lenya and cypress, and over the road divier scrub and retamo, my traps are partly in Sennera along a side track, partly in divier behind such as at the bottom of a coffee table coming down to a flat area containing young pines only a foot tall. Day mostly overcast but not cold, a few sprinkles in afternoon. at dusk put 8 big Sherman upstream near about caught the house mouse last year. Also 4 museum specials at edge of campfire roots in river lands. Apr 23 Sunday. Full moon but overcast with sprinkles during night. Temp. mild, no wind. 8 traps upstream held 1 youcorymys; 4 at edge of camps 1 abdon longpilis. Traps across stream caught 3 Oryz, 5 Abdon longfils, 2 Abdon divoeres. Anita caught a few Rh. merdus, and brunongy, 4 Oryz, and 3 Abdon longfils. Shunned until 1pm then off to Joleque. Birds at camps: chimango as a parroted swithtold with white throat. Hard woodpecker. Dead bones owl along road to water. Sparrow hawk, big pelcgray hawk with white band on tail. Chigpas in water but
