nov. 30 Trops caught in total 3 Phyllostis, 4 also pantba, and 4 Eligundenta /plus 2 spiders/. Set 2 of auto on caught critters but didn't seem to steal corn meal. Drove around next end of lake to the big mallin, which is a short-grass green seep of many hostoras, heavily grazed (horses, sheep, goats, mostly white goats). at 7 pm auto + I drove back to where the sand side jutses the road into the lake, a bit up +80 MS, skanani, + steel. on the ridge, and set traps on short green seeps sprinkled with big contedera clumps, and along the base of the rim rocks. Day warm, sunny, gentle wind. Dec. 1 Night clear, calm. Heard two horned owls during thought in the rimrock above our tops lines. In the morning saw at close range as this rimrock a pair of nesting Buteos, a large visocacia, and a hare. Saw a rhea and 6+ turkey-geos. spying on our way back to the hostora, auto drove back a line of 15 MS in jumbled lava + buck grass. This line caught 1 Phyllostis. On other two lines at the seep caught 3 rattleson, 1 also longfalis (in a very wet set), 5 also pantba, and 3 Phyllostis, and 1 Eligundenta. Carol had about 8 skanani around the Hostora and caught 1 also pantba, and 2 Eligundenta. Saw one lot of duck over edge of lake close to cliffs. Decas 3 dead Phyllostis, 4 dead pantba, 2 live pantba, 1 live Elgyo, 2 live Phyllostis. Noticed a couple of Siderama around the Hostora; lizards very abundant but all seem to be Siderama. Have only seen evidence of one tuco, and caught it. two rosa mosquitos
