Transcription
april 8 Rain all day. I identified bones picked up from surface of
Cueva Trofol by a friend of Humboldt's: 3 Segedin, 1 Reithrodon,
4 Euroscopus, 1 Auliscopus, 2 Phyllotis, 1 Streonym, 1 Notomyx
mocrmys, 1 albedor longipilis, 9 Stenonym, 3 Segedin,
and 1 unknown (size of Phyllostis).
april 9 Bardecho
april 10 Bardecho, about 3 inches of snow, Temp. +1°.
april 11 Bardecho
april 12 Visited Lic. Adam Hajduk and Willy; we were there two other
anthropologists came: Lic. Guillermo Mengoni Zövalone of
Sra. Maria José Figuerero. She gave me some small pellets
to identify (from Julido Viagante, between Alvaros and
Caylusenia). Then to a lecture by them at 9:30 p.m.
april 13 Sunday, Bardecho. The pellets contained:
pellet 1 - 1 Notomyx mocrmys, 1 beetle,
" 2 - 1 Auliscopus, 1 also found
" 3 - 1 Reithrodon, 1 Auliscopus, 1 Elquendula, 1 ?
" 4 - 1 Orystomyx
" 5 - 1 Phyllotis damini, 1 Auliscopus
" 6 - 1 Stenonym, 1 albedor longipilis, 1 also found.
" 7 - 1 Elquendula, 2 also found.
The four anthropologists came for lunch: Prof. Aurelia
Barganotti de Borunda, Lic. Luis A. Borrero, Lic Guillermo
Mengoni Zövalone, + Sra. Maria José Figuerero (wife of
Willy). Then Maria + Willy came back for the evening.
april 14 Bardecho. In spite of the 3" of snow, which only lasted 1 day,
tho poplars etc are now beginning to turn color. This much snow
