This pampa of lucagras stretches off to the north beyond the airport and apparently almost all its way to Cerro Leonor. The Cerro Leonor owls could well have been hunting in this habitat. 11 am SE Barlocho. Two small pellets in a copse of big retamo contained 1 adult Ratitho, 2 also longi, and 2 also foutha. There were a few mice maybe 6"tall on my line and Aunta had some 10"tall with legs-hoses. nov 29 Barlocho. Owl pellets nov 30 " " Dec.1 " " " " . Walked along assorted trails south of the Camino Folders at ten 4. A mixture of bushes, cleared fields gone to weeds, half-built or abandoned houses. Saw numerous old tucos invaded but more fresh. The lady of Bungolos Truafel say they used to flush out tucos with a garden hose. Scotch Bream in full bloom in Barlocho. Some motto fully out, others not yet. Dec.2 Visited Greg & Isabel Gallofin. He says there is a new book on grasses by Bros or Dra Nehora at INTA. Also includes Barlocho. The little crescent to be Chusquea argentina.
