The 5 tucos trofe and juncu trofe in a two burrow were not touched. One museum special set at its bottom of a "pat hole" dug down to a burrow was spring empty.
Redthredon? did a lot of dropping among menea and espina negra for tucos or Redthredone but found no sign, nice light, deep soil. No fresh tucos diggings, heard no tucos singing.
In the afternoon put about 50 trofe (alternate ms and big shamon) in menea desert south of the town dumps along the road to the Refugio Navarro? lots of bare soil, never, larva-like bushes, and santa queroso bushes. Lots of hare sign, no fresh tucos digging. Anta also put trofe (49 ) in similar habitat nearby. She had one big espina negra bush. A couple of small road trees on her + on my post. 3km S Barlozko.
Warm and mostly sunny all day.
Nov. 28 morning warm, partly overcast. my trophine had 1 toad, nothing else. Caught 1 sceloporus-like lizard under a rock. Anta caught 1 big green lizard, 4 Elgivo, and 1 abo faithlo,
at 4:30 put out new trophines about 3km south of the airport. This is a big flat plain of lowly grass with scattered menea, clumps of espina negra, scattered almost tree-sized palo pichi, and a few tall dense clumps of setamo. These are quite dense of dark inside. Lots of horsground between the grass clumps. Incredible number of sheep or hare droppings everywhere. Saw Redthredon droppings
