In addition I had 1 morobel and 2 jumbo traps set = acrocecy- into two-two burrows. These are in bamboo/coirio forest, near the road, but no shoulder. Have almost pure forest. 2 myetes flying at dusk last night Drove north slowly looking at bamboo, at one place about 2km north of the Traful terr off we saw 3 or more clumps of bamboo in flower. Other occasions had clumps but seldom could see old seed heads and no new seed heads. Stopped about 11:30 at keo Pichi - Trifol with trees in parkland, numerous trees with large orange fleshy fruits (photos). Some of these big ones are softer and more involaginous inside than the ones I ate last night. Also longi loved them. Stopped again on the north loop to Sapo this morning and camped by the river. Put out 40 alternating big Sherman and US in trees/lumber/bamboo, saw 1 cave in flower. Anita also put out 40 traps trees/bamboos/lumber/rice/chaura. Saw of the big black wasps here. I put some smallish grubs out for them, but they passed them by. Nov 30 morning mostly overcast, occasional drizzle. My traps hit 4 audisongs (including juva) and 1 also longi. Anita had 3 also longi, 1 Mato volder (juva), 1 audisong, and 1 abdosps. This one (5826) we would have called also longi except it was darker and much livelier than longi. Vibrated the end of its tail in a way I have not seen longi do. Belly not quite as pale, ears with grey hairs in them, feet with some brown, not all white. During the night a very large owl pellet appeared on the ground in camp, under a tree, consisting entirely of black-red beetle fragments, presumably the same species I picked earlier.
