Punta Blota I found no larvae, nor diddygig under an adjacent live clump. Another clump along the riverside of the road between the other garbage dump and our grid is old dead stuff a couple of spears in the middle. These have fresh flower or seed heads; the dead spears have old seed heads. Ran to grid at 4-6pm and probated all with corn meal: 2 J also longi q open #591 5A " " 8 #590 5C " " q open #593 6B " " #592 at 6 I put 10 large stemans and 10 small themane in damp bamboo (clumps) between the post office and the road to Santa Fria. Almost no ground cover, just bamboo clumps ad occasional coxine. Drizzle! nov 18. Rain ad drizzle during night. Drizzle in morning. My 20 traps bed 4 also longi. Anita's trap traps + a few stemans bed 4 longi, 2 Oryz, 1 Auliscamps, and 1 shivorene, and 1 (head only) Rattus. Ran grid at 8 am. Was impressed with almost total lack of herbaceous ground cover. I think this explains absence of Auliscamps and Shivorene on the grid. Caught 1 Dromiceio on the grid and brought him home to show Miguel and the Burdeforgues tomorrow.
