Nixon's new plan for Vietnam and how
it plans (to stop them) should be the focus not
only of people in this country but also of those abroad
who have long been involved. I would also feel that if we could
make a deal, it may keep the conflict strong. If this
happens, maybe they can then make peace elsewhere in
the region too.
No, no, no. No mistake here: by no means
could we just say that America better not take any action
that would cause us to try and stop a war that has been going on for years now. But if we do decide to act then
we must make sure that our actions are clear and strong.
We can't just go in with troops or bombs or whatever else. We need to be very careful about what we do and how we do it. If we're not careful, we could end up doing more harm than good. And if we don't act at all, then we might just let the situation get worse.
So much confusion here but no real clarity yet on just
what to do next. We need some kind of plan and a clear strategy
if we want any sort of future stability for Vietnam. But right now
it seems like we're just going around in circles trying to figure out
what to do next.
But seriously, what the hell is all this about anyway?
And why does it keep happening? What keeps pushing us
into these kinds of situations with other countries? It's gotten
really bad over the past few years and I think we need to find a way to stop it before it gets even worse.
