Za Varanda 1 audiscomps, 1 also longi, and 1 chucaso. The three pit traps near camp caught a live notiomys and aldivinus overnight and, in same trap, an also divinus during the day. Anita caught two more notiomys, adlivinus, a couple of also olivo, and a half-dozen also longi. One of them a tagged longi from the grid. I saw a black house cat, very wild, in the lagu forest; We have seen bayer twice and lots of rootings of small boqs in the grassy meadows, but matter of those in our mine forest. Capture on grid as follows: 3B audiscomp # 397 (bare mump). 5B " # 396 ” 5H also longi # 398 „ open 6C audiscomp # 378 + 673 short tail. Vag open, not nursing. 6A " # 670 7A " # 399 looks preg. 7H also longi # 668 ” 8F also olivo # 666 + 665 „ open 8E also longi # 400 „ open # 669 also longi, also longi caught 100m from closest grid line (line 8). Re-estimated heights of trees/ bamboos on the grid. The trees are up to 21 ft, and lots of them that high. The bamboo is up to 10 ft., with max. diameter about 14mm Nov 5 morning with heavy clouds but completely clear by 10 a.m., so just off close to camp held 3 also longi, an estrous „ and 2 ””. Same traps caught a notiomys addivus yesterday and also alive day before.
