Left near for south on the road past Joke Maccardi and
Giulino. The full colors of lenpa are gorgeous, a few
red-brown
cottonwoods gorgeous, n. antarctica dull yellow brown. Bonbardy

Poplars have lost their leaves.
Camped along a stream between Foyel and San Pelelos,
fairly arid, with cypress and lenpa along the stream; sorberry,
retama, cypress, and marten on the flats away from the
stream. Shot about 28 museum specials along the
stream (under roots, boarders, etc). Anita put 33 in
the flats; just before dusk 2 teen-age fishermen worked their
way downstream past camp (and past my trap lines). Then they
returned upstream and I caught them stealing 2 traps; rewarded
tthem.

with long tail! Anita had 9 Oryz (2 discarded), 2 Phyllotis micripus (oneg's),
