Brudelias. Saw no lizards. Reservoir empty, hardly any flow in the aquivo; Sawmice. There seem to be a big coarse dark-tailed form as well as fly- dammini. One of the dark ones must have one to slip his tail while I was killing them. The mountain scrub area has lupines. Saw one altildeor and Dove saw one. Have seen only one or two doers, March 13 Night mostly cloudy, but clear at 5:30 a.m. minim 40°. yesterday's high was 70 but felt much better. Have seen no more Patagora, so essentially they aren't here at this season. Skimming etc. Clouded up about 4 pm, night mostly cloudy but cleared about 4 am. March 14 minim 40°, morning cloudless, no proper trade calling last night. Only a few Cactus blossoms, a few matohurs. Other Abedon Perdepheski active among the Brudelias during a.m. Prove up the hill at 9:30, stopped briefly at Quin's camp, than to Yaveta canbe survey. Vegetation just as no left it except numerous Nototribs blossoming. Fodenum multiflorum & altildeors both out, Carl's yaveta : at A1 bed with metal tag # 10: measured to profile surface of nail bed, 25m 24m 25m 25mm view from north
