Feb. 2 2 shadows in my traps near Jeor. Reid had one young cow in cattle at Timboga. ±3.0 I'm set large & small shermans in stone walls near cemetery at Tidoro. Numerous cuttings of weeds and alfalfa? Rain in P.M. Feb. 3 2 Androamps and 1 Phyllotis caprinus and 1 more in my traps. Anita ranthen during the day and got another Phyllotis. Left 9:30 with Reid + others for Abrupamboo. Saw first two fawns 15 km S of Tree Creek amid Lepidothyllum bushes on sandy soil. Set traps here. Then drove on to 8 km N (by road) of Tree Creek and set more traps there (sandy soil with Lepidothyllum and other bushes). Weather hot, little wind. Traps set from 1 to 5 at first place, 3 to 4:30 at second place. Caught about 12 large Bob Tunes. No singing, and not much fresh digging; mostly plugged feeding holes. A pair of burning owls at 8 km I had been feeding on very small mice, insects, 1 frog, 1 toad. Feb. 4 Whole family down with fever (40°), Darwin, Norris, Gerdecle, and recorder object/panisx with Christian set about 20 small shermans and 8 big shermans hoping to get Octodoncus and Phyllotis darwin (just before dark) in the Pucara. Feb. 5 Nothing in traps, saw 2 Octodonus while running O-traps. Just before dark set 15 small shermans and 1 large Sherman with Christian + Sandy at
