P. PEARSON 1955 I-9. Villavista, 12,200 ft. (between Rio Blanco + Casa Padre), Aug. 13. Stoney slope with lupine and other woody shrubs 1-3 ft. tall. No cactus. Traps here caught Hesperomys and 11 Phylotis andrino. Eucalyptus bore - south-facing slope had bunchgrass + Baccharis, looked more altiplano. [illegible] carried along cemetery wall near grass, plus it [illegible] I-10 3 mi. N Carhuarayo, 13,500 ft., looking west across part of Lake Junin, Aug. 16. Mine wounds, Phone pole about 8" diameter. Hesperomys and Rana Miersi.
