Nov. 12 Orinda. First rain of season fell about 10:30 a.m.,
then scattered heavy showers rest of day. Season
is late this year. Since this was first rain, and a good
one, it provides an unusually clear cut beginning to
the rainy season. When I went home at 6:30 p.m.
over Fred Bench Rd picked up 19 Ensatina (4021) and
after supper 4 ?? along Miner Rds.
Nov. 13 Orinda. Heavy rain again off and on during the day. Drove
about 1/2 miles of Miner Rd. after supper and picked up
4 anides, 2 Ensatina, and 5 Triturus (at least 2 of
them trozona)
