P. PEARSON 1951-1952 Liolaemus cont'd 2 into shade of rock; tethered at 10:32 with rectal 121/2o he was sluggish but could run slowly; shade temp 11o. Anta's big & oncena were out at 2:40 when breeze cold in overcast. He was sheltered from cold wind by his rock. Temp under a big rock at 3:00 was 12o. A big & sized under a rock at 4:30 had rectal 24o; shade beside rock was 9; stuff under rock 12o. Tethered captive in shade at 4:45- had rectal 71/2o, shade temp. 8o. He could walk slowly, right himself, bite hard & long. At 5:40 his rectal 4o, air 71/2o; could walk slowly & right slow. At 7:00
