P. PEARSON 1952 48 Looking for the clutch of turmoors. Worked blind at nest #4. Afternoon clear but misty. March 21 Morning frosty, 26°. Walked to Tinegalea nests and rocks. Decided to move camp to near nest #4 but got sticks going across ponter. Rain-ball about 5:30 to 7:30+. March 22 Got heavy mistook, then drove to Tinefaler to check nests there. Then back to nest #4 where we watched all afternoon, then checked and found eggs stolen. Rain in evening. March 23 Day mostly cloudy, light rain in lots afternoon. Photo'd + plant collected in morning, then hunted turmoors without much luck. March 24 Cloudy in a.m. Hunted turmoors around Torga without luck till 9, then started up hill to see Kofords. Met Carl on way, so we all went to Tinegalea and hunted turmoors till 3, then fished. Rain 5 to 7+. March 25 Morning cloudy till about 10. Photo'd Muthfester nest #2. Carl et al. came down so we devoted day to fishing at Tinefaler. Caught 5 rainbows, the biggest about 18"; kept 14 or 15, very deep-bodied. Two other (ormore) big ones got away with 4 species. No rain but evening cloudy. Many discovered turmoors nest by snow-troobing in the a.m. Amuta's 12 traps in two gurdngygalas put out noon yesterday, by & a m today had: 6 Abodan Golmianis, 2 Chreangs, 1 Ph. pictus, 1 a. amoenus. March 26 Took a quick pace at the big trout, but caught only 11"-rales. Then lots drive to help watch Koford's turmoors nest. Same had at 3-4, then snow about 7:
