P. PEARSON 1951 Feb 26 Total catch 3 Lorch program (one of them was up on the edge of the Artemisia), 5 Peromyscus eremiculus, 6 Reithrodontomya, and 1 Meristae. About 1/4 inch of snow and hail fell between 6 and 8 a.m. March 4 Put out a different line across from Camp Padre, both mice and ante's in grass - Common. Total 100 Mouse Species baited with walnuts. March 5 Ran traps and rebaited. March 6 Picked up traps. Total for two nights 30 Meristae, 10 Lorch programs, about 15 Reithro and about 4 Peromyscus March 11 Put 50 Delusion live traps in common grass about Camp Williams. March 12 Caught 2 Pero (released) and 1 Reithro. Left traps out and set also 100 Mouse Specials in Common and grass across from Camp Padre. March 13 Five live Reithros in the live traps and 7 in the snap traps, plus 8 Meristae, 5 Pero, and 6 Lorch progr March 18 ante's and I put 50 live traps (Delusion) and 50 snap traps at 3 places in fields. Some Common, some dense grass, and some Artemisia slope. March 19 Catch was 1 Mice, no shrews, 2 Pero, 17 Reithro, and 8 Meristae. The Delusion in Artemisia (about 35) caught only 1 mouse, a Meristae. Left traps set. Ran them at 6 and bed 6 Meristae and 1 Reithro and 1 third-grown bad rabbit. March 20 In a.m. had 17 more Reithro, 7 Meristae, 2 Peromyscus, 1 Bergmothus, 2 Lelephorus, and 1 Triturus and 1 song sparrow. Both Leleph were big males that had gone into
