Co.: looked at several of the Salicornia marshes
near our last week's station but none seemed
to have as many sign on the original site. Put
traps at 1 new place and then re-covered 3
places where we had trapped before. Saw
practically no really fresh droppings or cuttings.
While setting saw 2 Toads, 1 Bufo, 2 Sceloporus,
11 spring-tailed snake, and a pair of Rites. Heard
great horned owl and many frogs at dusk.
Salicornia twigs very dry with practically no
fleshy parts.
