P. PEARSON 1950 28 Oroville Springs, Napa Co., Calif. Feb. 17, 1950 1920 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei Together with other ff. 1921, 1922 and ♂ Banded 49-123001 Nipple med. Caught Feb. 16 noon, killed 6 p.m. Feb. 17, after keeping in refrigerator. Uterus quite vascular and somewhat distinctly translucent. Not really smaller than "fuller", less fat than earlier specimens, little fat. Uterus artery tortuous but not conspicuously white sheathed. Rt. horn definitely longer. Ovaries: nothing definite seen under dissecting scope. More gland = a few small colorless drops spots under microscope. Banded May 29 with young (at below) 1921 ♀ Corynorhinus caught and killed as 1920. Banded c 161790. Nipple tingy, skin rosy. Little fat. Uterus paler than 1920; Rt. horn slightly longer than left but not fatter. 1 mm. from throb. Ovaries artery not seen. Nothing conclusive seen in ovaries under dissecting scope. Follicles not ovary, scale marked, sperm in outlet young (1 yr) and cervix, many mucus in uterus 1922 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei caught & killed as 1920, 1921 Nipple tingy. No fat. More vascular than 1921. Both horns of uterus same width 0.9 mm and length. Rt. horn with translucent hard across center, artery not white sheathed and not tortuous, nothing conspicuous seen in ovaries with dissecting scope. Banded 49-123018 young (1 yr) Considerable tissue activity - may collapsed ovary left overy. Some red. atrial follicles in both ovaries. Many open at tubo-st. junction Reed Mine, 1750 ft., 1 mi NE Yolo-Gold-Napa Co. Junction. Yolo Co. Calif. 1923 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei Awoke in tunnel with other ff. (1924). Nipple tingy - slight amt. fat. Uterus large & vascular, Uterine artery tortuous. Rt. horn longer, 1.6 mm. Caught Feb 16, 6 P.M. killed Feb. 17, 6 PM. Graafian follicles in rt. ovary. Many open at cervix, tubo-uterine junction. >52, n.2. 1924 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei Awoke in tunnel with (1923 & 4 ff). Nipple med. No fat. Uterus not as vascular as 1923. Right horn longer than left (1.7 mm.). Artery white, sheathed. Nothing conspicuous in ovaries. Caught Feb 16, killed 12 P.M. Feb. 17 Only med. follics... Many open Manhattan Mine, 2000 ft., 2 mi NW Knoxville, Napa Co. Calif. 1925 ♀ Corynorhinus rafinesquei In Catacaucus tunnel on Feb. 17, in A.M. Killed 12 P.M. Feb. 17. Banded 49-123322. Nipple med. No fat. Uterus vascular, slightly translucent. Artery white-sheathed, not very tortuous. Rt horn larger - 1.5 mm. Ovaries with no conspicuous features. Large follics 53 - n 3 in left. Many sperm.
